Keno Brown (Wrestling): He was a strong wrestler and good athlete from Harrisburg, PA. He joined the Coppin’s wrestling team in 1993. His freshmen year he was chosen the outstanding wrestler of the year after going 21-14. During his freshmen year, he placed second at the MEAC Championships and finished third at the Big Northeastern Conference Championships. During the 1994-95 season he won a MEAC crown and placed second at the Big Northeastern Conference Championships. His record that season was 21-9. Brown’s junior year ended with a win at the Eastern Regional Championship and a NCAA qualifier bid. He finished his junior year with a 30-6 match record, 18-0 in dual meet competition. In 1997, after winning the Eastern Regional, he made his senior trip to the NCAA’s.
