BALTIMORE, Md. – The men's tennis team hosted Loyola MD and loss 7-0 at the CSU Tennis Courts on Tuesday, April 11
th. Coppin State falls to 1-12 overall with two matches remaining in the regular season.
The Eagles No.2 and No. 3 doubles pair both fell 6-3 to Loyola MD.
Gabriel Franca and
Christian Duchnak competed at the second spot while
Andres Diaz and
Gavin Lewis took on the No. 3.
Zaipo Oula and
Andre Sturniolo led off at the No. 1 spot and dropped their match 6-0.
In singles competition, Duchnak pushed his opponent to the brink. At the No. 3 spot Duchnak battled Reid Burch from Loyola MD and fell 7-6 (7-5), 6-2, 6-2. The Eagles suffered defeats in the rest of the singles action.
