BALTIMORE, Md. – The Coppin State men's tennis team battled but could not overcome Bucknell, falling 6-1 on Saturday, April 1
st at the CSU Tennis Courts.
Senior
Christian Duchnak claimed his first singles win of the season at the No. 2 spot with a nice come from behind victory 6-0, 6-4 (5-7), 10-8 against Andrei Vitiuc. Bucknell dominated the rest of the match sweeping doubles action and winning five out of six in singles.
Freshman
Andre Sturniolo and
Zaipo Oula teamed up at No. 1 doubles and dropped their match 6-2. Junior
Gabriel Franca and
Christian Duchnak competed at the No. 2 and loss 6-1 then junior
Gavin Lewis and sophomore
Andres Diaz battled at the third spot and was shutout 6-0.
