BALTIMORE- The Coppin State men's tennis team fell 6-1 to Daemen College at the CSU Tennis Complex on Friday, April 8 in Baltimore. Junior
Christian Duchnak won at No. 2 singles with a score of 6-2, 6-2.

Gabriel Franca (6-3, 0-6, 6-2) and freshman
Andres Diaz (7-6, 9-7, 7-0) battled and loss in three sets at No. 1 and No. 4 singles.

Gavin Lewis suffered a 6-3, 6-4 defeat in No. 3 singles, while freshmen
Zaipo Oula (6-1, 6-1) and
Ross Olexa (6-0, 6-3) competed and fell at No. 5 and No. 6 singles respectively.

Duchnak and Franca paired up and loss in No. 1 doubles play 6-2.

CSU's No. 2 doubles team of Lewis and Diaz dropped a 6-0 match while No. 3 doubles duo of Oula and Olexa also fell 6-4 as Daemen swept all doubles matches.

The Eagles fall to 1-11 overall record and a 1-4 in the MEAC.

Coppin State will continue its home slate with a match against the University of Delaware on Thursday, April 14 at 3:00 p.m.
