Men's Tennis Falls to Norfolk State in MEAC road Opener

NORFOLK- Coppin State men tennis team fell to Norfolk State University 6-1 on Thursday March 24 at NSU Tennis Complex.
 
This was the Eagles third match of the week after facing Mount St Mary's on Monday (Mar 21) and Howard University on Tuesday (Mar 22).
 
Norfolk State swept through Coppin State winning all matches in singles and doubles play.
 
Coppin State had a strong outing from sophomore Gavin Lewis.
 
Gavin Lewis battled at No. 3 with a 6-1, 6-3 loss. In doubles competition, Christian Duchnak teamed up with Lewis in No. 2 and suffered a 6-1 defeat.
 
The duo of Gabriel Franca and Andres Diaz dropped their No. 1 match, 6-0.
 
Coppin State will return to action Tuesday, March 29 when the visit Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. The match will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the TU Pavilion.
