Men’s Tennis Kicks off Season at Saint Peter’s

JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Senior Christian Duchnak shined for the Eagles in their season-opener on Saturday, October 15^th at Saint Peter's winning in singles competition, 7-5, 6-1, 5-7, 7-6 (8-6).

The Eagles scored one point in singles competition and the other came in doubles, both at the third flight.

Christian Duchnak completed at No. 3 singles and was victorious, 7-5, 6-1, 5-7, 7-6 (8-6). The next Coppin State point came at No. 3 doubles behind the duo of sophomore Andrez Diaz and junior Gavin Lewis. Diaz and Lewis won 6-3 over the Peacocks pair.

Coppin State's men's tennis team will host Rider University on Saturday, October 22^nd at noon at the CSU Tennis Complex.
