Box Score BEL AIR, Md. – Coppin State's men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision at Harford Community College on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles dropped the doubles point as they claimed just one victory out of three flights with the lone win coming in the third spot. The duo of
Henrique Sada and
Sam Scala-McNeill were victorious 6-3.
Jorge Rodriguez Rey earned the lone point for CSU on the day, pulling out a 6-3, 6-1 victory in the top doubles position. Scala-McNeill took his opponent to three flights in the second position, but the Eagles fell in straight sets at Nos. 3-6.
Next up for Coppin State (1-2) is a match against Hofstra at 1 pm on Tuesday, March 19 at CSU Tennis Courts.
