PRINCETON, N.J. – The women's track and field team at Coppin State University closed out their outdoor season at the 2017 ECAC/IC4A Track and Field Championships on May 12-14 at Weaver Stadium on the campus of Princeton, NJ.
Sophomore
Khemani Roberts leaped 1.71 meters placing fifth overall in the women's high jump finals. Roberts is 38
th on the regional list in the high jump with a season best mark of 1.73 meters in the heptathlon and 36
th in the heptathlon with 5,038 points.
Senior
Kiersten Bond was ninth in the long jump at 5.63 meters capping a great career for the Eagles track and field program. Junior
Kristen Deacon competed in the discus throw and was 24
th at 39.08 meters.

Khemani Roberts ran a time of 48.47 clocking in their second fastest time of the season placing 19
th.
In the 2017 outdoor season,
Khemani Roberts set a new school record in the heptathlon with 5,038 points. Freshman
Aidan Alston is second on the all-time list in both the javelin (38.03m) and in the pole vault (2.65m) while sophomore
Savannah Forte ranks first in the pole vault at 3.19 meters on the Coppin State women's track and field list.
