GREENSBORO, N.C. – Halutie Hor took fourth in the 100m dash, leading the Coppin State women's track & field team at the Aggie Classic, hosted by North Carolina A&T over the weekend.
A senior from Kumasi, Ghana, Hor clocked a 11.71 in the 100m dash and also led a quartet of Eagles in the 200m dash in 23.84. Hor also ran a leg of the 4x100m Relay that took fourth in 46.03 along with
Gifty Oku, Benidicta Kwartemaa and
Kyah La Fortune.
La Fortune also doubled up in the 200m and 400m dash, finishing in 24.00 and 55.76, respectively, as did
Tracey Riley in times of 25.52 and 57.63. Oku did her double in the 100m (11.95) and 200m (24.30).
Also competing was
Karima Davenport-White in the 100m hurdles (15.62) and
Woizero Richards in the long jump with a leap of 4.97m (16' 3.75").
Coppin returns to the track for the MEAC Championships, hosted at Norfolk State, on May 15-17.
