NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's women's 4x100m Relay of
Gifty Oku, Benidicta Kwartemaa, Kyah La Fortune and
Halutie Hor took second in 45.00 at the MEAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Norfolk State at William 'Dick' Price Stadium on Saturday.
La Fortune and Hor also scored points for the Eagles in a pair of individual events with La Fortune taking third in the 200m (23.55) and seventh in the 400m (58.97). Hor took sixth in the 100m (11.66) and seventh in the 200m (24.30).
To wrap up the Championship, Oku, La Fortune and Hor followed
Tracey Riley in the 4x400m Relay which took fifth in 3:52.60.
