TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Coppin State (2-14, 1-0) will play Florida A&M in the Al Lawson Center on Saturday evening (6 p.m., ET). Last season, CSU won its only contest against Florida A&M, 70-66, in Tallahassee, Fla stretching the streak to two wins. Both Coppin State and Florida A&M won their MEAC openers on Wednesday.

Chas Brown finished with a season-high 19 points in a 75-59 win for Coppin State in their MEAC opener against South Carolina State on Wednesday, January 4th in the Physical Education Complex. Coppin State shot the ball well in their first game of the New Year knocking down a season-high 28 field goals hitting 57% of their shots in the game. Defensively, the Eagles held SCSU to only 59 points, five made free-throws and only four made three-pointers.
FIVE EAGLES FINISH IN DOUBLE-DIGIT SCORING VERSUS SOUTH CAROLINA STATE
Five Eagles netted double-digit points in their second win of the season over South Carolina State.
Chas Brown was force in the interior for the Eagles in his second game of the season registering a game-high 19 points on 8-of-10 made shots from the field. He also went 3-for-4 from the free-throw line and dished out his first assist of the season. Senior
Joshua Treadwell led the CSU bench with 14 points, three rebounds and two assists. He made 5-of-6 shots from the field and all three of his free-throws. A trio of Eagle starters all finished with 12 points in senior

Dejuan Clayton. Both Thomas and Clayton made a pair of three-pointers and Harris drained 4-of-6 free-throws.
ABOUT FLORIDA A&M
The Rattlers are 3-11 this season and won their MEAC opener at Howard on Wednesday (78-66). Marcus Barham scored a team-high 21 points and Derrick Dandridge grabbed ten rebounds in the win. Desmond Williams leads three Rattlers in double figure scoring averaging 15.4 points per game. Braham (12.1 ppg) and Craig Bowman (11.5) are also top scorers for FAMU. Williams ranks first in the MEAC in blocked shots (1.5), sixth in scoring, and 17th in rebounding (5.2).
MADE THREE-POINTERS STREAK CONTINUES FOR EAGLES
Coppin State has made at least one three-point field goal in 202 consecutive games over the past seven seasons; which is the current longest streak in the nation. The last time the Eagles were unable to register a made three-pointer in a game was back on Feb. 22, 2010 at Delaware State (0-8).

- Coppin State ranks 62nd in three-point field goal attempts (361) and 83rd in offensive rebounds per game (12.25). The Eagles lead the MEAC in total rebounds (559) and second in both three-point field goal attempts (361) and free-throw attempts (316).
- Individually, Tre' Thomas ranks 11th in MEAC made three-pointers (2.1) and 30th in the MEAC in scoring (10.1).
- Terry Harris Jr. ranks third in free-throw percentage (.811), ninth in defensive rebounds (4.1) and 13th in rebounding (5.4).
- Blake Simpson is ninth in offensive rebounds (2.1) and 20th in rebounding (5.1).
- Joshua Treadwell is sixth in free-throw percentage (.778).
- Dejuan Clayton is 13th in steals (1.1) and Keith Shivers is tied for 14th in steals (1.0).
MILESTONES
- Senior Terry Harris Jr. (480) needs 20 points to reach 500 career points as an Eagle. He is also 13 rebounds (287) shy of 300 career rebounds.
- Senior Joshua Treadwell has scored 484 career points in two seasons at Coppin State. He needs 16 more points to reach 500 total.
- Sophomore Lucian Brownlee (193) needs seven points to eclipse the 200 point total in his career.
