Larry Stewart has announced the promotion of former Eagle
Chad Andrews-Fulton to assistant men's basketball coach. Andrews-Fulton spent the last two seasons working with the program as a graduate assistant where he aided with scouting and player development.
A native of Philadelphia, Andrews-Fulton returned to Coppin after a successful two-year playing career with the Eagles from 2017-19. He appeared in 62 games and made 45 starts, averaging 7.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game after transferring in from Baltimore City Community College. Where he earned All-MDJUCO and All-Tournament Team honors.
Andrews-Fulton saved one of the finest performances of his career for his final regular-season game in a Coppin State uniform. On March 7, 2019, he posted career highs of 24 points and 18 rebounds while adding five assists to lead the Eagles to an 83-69 victory at Morgan State. He shot 9-of-16 from the field and knocked down a career-high three 3-pointers in the victory.
Following his collegiate career, he played professionally overseas for three seasons in Georgia and Portugal from 2020-22.
After graduating with a bachelor's degree from Coppin, Andrews-Fulton continued his studies and received a master's degree in criminal justice.
