JACKSONVILLE, Fl. – A pair of Lady Eagles competed in the women's high jump event on day two of the 2016 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field East Preliminaries at UNF's Hodges Stadium.
Senior
Deandra Daniel placed tied for 13th in the women's high jump preliminaries at 1.76 meters. That was her second-best measure this outdoor season as she finished one spot out of the final 12 that advances to the championship round. Daniel ends her career at Coppin State with the top three women's outdoor high jump records in program history.
Coppin State's second performer in the women's high jump prelims was freshman
Khemani Roberts. Roberts placed tied for 25th with a mark of 1.71 meters capping her rookie season for the Lady Eagles with her second-best mark.
The final Eagle competing at the 2016 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field East Preliminaries will be senior Shane Green in the men's triple jump at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Green ranks 19th coming into the competition with a personal best mark of 15.80 meters at the Penn Relays.
