EWING – Coppin State had five top-20 finishes at the Lions' Invitational on Saturday, April 30 hosted by The College of New Jersey.
Sophomore hurdler
Breana Hagwood placed sixth in the 100 meter hurdles event in 14.98 seconds and then finished 14
th in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:08.95.
In the throwing events, sophomore thrower
Kristen Deacon placed seventh in the shot put competition measuring at 12.41 meters. Senior thrower
Alethia Edwards competed in the discus throw and placed 12
th at 34.83 meters.
Rounding out the Lady Eagles at the Lions' Invitational was sophomore multi
Randi Bohler competing in the long jump event. Bohler leaped 4.98 meters placing 18
th overall.
