BALTIMORE- Coppin State seniors
Ashley Milo and
Miranda Taylor closed out Senior Day by helping the women's tennis to 6-0 victory over Maryland Eastern Shore on Saturday, April 16 at the CSU Tennis Complex in Baltimore.
The Lady Eagles swept the Lady Hawks in all singles and doubles matches.
Miranda Goede, Milo and Taylor all garnered 6-0, 6-0 victories in No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 singles action.
Tanna Nita picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles while
Precious Udofe earned a 1-0 victory in the No. 5 singles match.
Goede and Milo teamed up for a 6-0 win in No. 1 doubles play and Taylor and Udofe also battled to a 6-0 victory in No. 2 doubles action.
The Lady Eagles improve to 5-12 overall on the season.
Coppin State will return to action for the MEAC Championships on April 21-23 in Norfolk, VA.Â
