LINCOLN, PA- The Coppin State tennis team swept Cheyney University 7-0 in their matchup on Wednesday, April 13 at the Lincoln University Tennis Courts in Lincoln, PA.
Miranda Taylor (8-1) won at No. 1 singles; Carentxa Geode (8-0) and Ashley Milo (8-0) picked up victories at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, while Precious Udofe (8-0) and Tanna Nita (8-1) garnered wins at No. 4 and No. 5 singles.
Geode and Taylor (8-0) paired up for No. 1 doubles win and Milo and Taylor (8-0) teamed together for No. 2 doubles victory.
CSU is 4-12 overall and will return to action for senior day against Maryland Eastern Shore on Saturday, April 16 at 1:00 p.m. at the CSU Tennis Complex.
