TOWSON – The Lady Eagles traveled to nearby Towson University for a Sunday morning match on April 9
th and loss 7-0.
Coppin State falls to 2-11 overall record as Towson took all of the singles and doubles matches.
CSU's No. 1 doubles team of
Carentxa Goede and
Ashley Milo fell 6-1 while the No. 2 duo of
Miranda Taylor and
Precious Udofe also loss 6-1.
In singles action,
Ashley Milo competed at the first flight for the Lady Eagles and went down 6-1, 6-0. At No. 2 singles, Geode dropped her match 6-1, 6-0 and Taylor at No. 3 was blanked 6-0, 6-0. Nita and Udofe rounded out Coppin's singles action at No. 4 and No. 5 spots respectively dropping both matches by a score of 6-1, 6-0.
The Lady Eagles tennis team returns to action on Tuesday, April 12
th at 2 p.m. at Bowie State University.
