•   The Eagles suffered their tenth loss of the year starting off the month of December at Clemson (85-43). Clemson made 33-of-61 (54%) shot attempts against the Eagles and defensively held them to 17-of-55 (30%) attempts.
Terry Harris Jr. scored 11 of his 14 points in the first half while
Izais Hicks carried the second half scoring with six points and six rebounds.
•   Coppin State has opened the season with ten consecutive losses, their worst start to a season since 2005-06, when the Eagles went 0-12 but finished strong in MEAC play going 12-6 in league play. CSU last won the MEAC Tournament in 2007-08 after going 7-9 in conference play during the regular season.
•   Coppin State ranks 15th in the nation in 3-pt field goal attempts (238), 24th in total rebounds (361) and 50th in free-throw attempts (206). The Eagles are second in the MEAC in free-throw attempts, and in total rebounds. They are third in offensive rebounds per game (12.30), three-point field goal defense (33.6) and in total three-point field goals made (69).

Coppin State plays their 11th road game of the season on Saturday, Dec. 10 at Buffalo (2 p.m.). The Eagles defeated Buffalo in their only meeting ever on the hardwood on Jan. 9, 1993 (69-52).
ABOUT THE ZIPS
Akron (6-2) dropped their last game at Creighton 82-70 on Saturday, Dec. 3. The Zips have three players averaging in double figure scoring led by Isaiah Johnson (15.4 ppg). Antino Jackson (12.0 ppg) and Noah Robotham (10.2 ppg) are the others. Akron is undefeated at home this season with a 4-0 record.

MADE THREE-POINTERS STREAK CONTINUES FOR EAGLES
Coppin State has made at least one three-point field goal in 196 consecutive games over the past seven seasons; which is the current longest streak in the nation. The last time the Eagles were unable to register a made three-pointer in a game was back on Feb. 22, 2010 at Delaware State (0-8).
EAGLES LAST DIVISION I NON-CONFERNCE VICTORY Â
Coppin State has not defeated an NCAA Division I opponent in three seasons. The last non-conference victory came at home on December 11, 2013 against UMBC (91-71). That season CSU also defeated Ohio Valley (96-79) and Oregon State (78-73). Head Coach
