JERSEY CITY, N.J. - The Eagles opened their 2016-17 season on the road last weekend at Saint Peter's. The Peacocks breezed through the match winning 7-0 on Saturday, October 15.
Senior
Carentxa Goede represented the Eagles in the first flight and suffered a 6-4, 7-6 (7-2), 7-10 loss. Sophomore
Precious Udofe battled at No. 2 singles and went down 2-6, 6-3, 7-10. In doubles action, Goede and Udofe fell 6-1 to Saint Peters No. 1 doubles duo.
Coppin State's women's tennis team will host Rider University on Saturday, October 22
nd at noon at the CSU Tennis Complex.
