BALTIMORE – The Coppin State University men's basketball program will attend New Shiloh Baptist Church on Sunday, November 9 for the 11 a.m. service. Feel free to come worship with the Eagles before the start of the 2014-15 season.

New Shiloh Baptist Church is located at 2100 North Monroe Street. New Shiloh Baptist Church has a rich and glorious history. Founded in 1902, the church has been led by the late founder Dr. Whit W. Allen (1902-1942); Dr. J. Timothy Boddie (1942 - 1963); and is presently being led by Dr. Harold A. Carter (1965 to present) and Dr. Harold A. Carter, Jr. (1996 to present).

New Shiloh Baptist Church was led by the late Dr. Carter for 44 years. Along with his late wife, Dr. Weptanomah W. Carter, they have created a spiritual model of faith, prayer and service. Dr. Carter is now joined by his son, Dr. Carter, Jr., and his wife, Rev. Monique Carter, in a unique and mutual pastoral ministry relationship.

With 11 returning players, Coppin State plays at the University of Oregon in its season-opening contest on Friday, November 14 at 11:59 p.m. in a game that will be televised nationally on the Pac-12 Network.
