2015 (Senior): Muhammad earned the CSU baseball “Unsung Hero” award. He made 17 appearances and had 13 starts. He had 41 strikeouts in 63.1 innings. Muhammad had four or more strikeouts four times this season. He struck out a season-high six batters against UMES on April 4 over seven innings. In striking out five batters, Muhammad allowed one earned run over five innings against Saint Bonaventure on March 12.
2012 (Freshman) Made 17 appearances on the mound and started two games…played in 16 games in the field, which included five starts in the outfield…was 0-2 on the mound with a 15.61 earned run average…hit .192 for the season with an RBI…also had two doubles and scored three runs…was 5-for-26 at the plate for the season…his pitching starts came against Penn State (3/28) and Navy (4/4)…struck out 16 batters in 21.1 innings pitched…longest stint of the season came at Duke where he pitched 4.0 innings and allowed four runs on seven hits…pitched two scoreless innings of relief in his Coppin State debut on the mound…went 2.0 innings against UMBC (3/17) and didn’t allow a run while striking out two batters…pitched two shutout innings in relief versus Norfolk State (3/25)…first career hit came against Long Island (3/10) where he was 1-for-2 with a double…went 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI versus Bethune-Cookman (5/16) in the MEAC Tournament…was 2-for-4 with a double and scored two runs against UMBC (3/16).
High School Attended Franklin High School in Somerset, N.J….was a second team all-conference selection as a senior…was selected to the Under Armor preseason All-American Tournament.
