2015 (Sophomore): Finished with a .229 average in 39 games. He had 27 hits and five doubles. He drove in 13 runs and scored eight. Mendez had four multi-hit games. He had a pair of three-hit outings against Jacksonville (Feb. 21) and Norfolk State (Mar. 28). Mendez had three multi-RBI games this season: Jacksonville (Feb. 21), UMES (Mar. 15) and Norfolk State (Mar. 28). Mendez had two doubles against UMES on March 15. He had a season-high four game hitting streak and reached base in 12 straight games. Mendez drew a team-high tying 19 walks. He hit his only triple of the season against Delaware State on March 22.

2014 (Freshman): Played in 15 games and started in 12…earned a .289 batting average and two runs…recorded 11 hits and two RBIs…had a three game hitting streak in which he collected seven hits…His best performance of the season was against UMES March 16 where he recorded three hits and two RBIs.
