WASHINGTON, D.C. – Coppin State's men basketball team will compete against Georgetown University on Monday, December 22, 2025 at McDonough Arena. This was announced by Georgetown's men's basketball team last week and is the second non-conference game officially on the Eagles schedule for the 2025-26 season.
Georgetown holds a 6-0 lead against Coppin, winning all six games, all of which have taken place in Washington, D.C. This will be the second time the Eagles will play in McDonough Arena against Georgetown, previously playing there on December 8, 2020. The rest of the games have been played at Capital One Arena.
As a part of the Hall of Fame series, Coppin opens the 2025-26 season playing against Maryland on November 3 at the CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore.
