Men’s Hoops’ Nnadozie, Brown Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Coppin State's Toby Nnadozie and Cam'Ron Brown have been named to the College Sports Communicators 2024-25 Academic All-District Men's Basketball Team, it was announced by the organization earlier this week. Nnadozie was also selected as a finalist for CSC Academic All-America honors and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members, which will be announced on April 15.
 
To be eligible for Academic All-District consideration, the athlete must have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA, compete in 90 percent of games played or start in at least 66 percent of the school's games.
 
Nnadozie was the 2024-25 MEAC Defensive Player of the Year and a Third Team All-Conference selection after averaging 12.6 points and 3.4 rebounds with 70 assists and seven blocks while leading the league with 76 steals and ranking seventh nationally with 2.53 steals per game. A junior from Baltimore, Md., Nnadozie put up a career-high 29 points at Delaware State, earning him MEAC Player of the Week honors, and recorded a career-high eight steals in a win over Cheyney, matching the CSU single-game record for steals.  His eight steals are the most by a Division I player in a single game this season.
 
Brown averaged 3.6 points with 1.9 rebounds while leading the Eagles with 74 assists to go with 27 steals and four blocks. A junior from Odenton, Md., Brown was an NJCAA All-Academic First Team selection after recording a 4.0 GPA during his junior college career. Brown started in 19 games this season, recording a season-high 11 points at UMBC and dishing out nine assists in a win over Morgan State in the regular season finale.
