Halutie Hor Narrowly Misses Advancing to NCAA Quarterfinals in 100m Dash

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Coppin State's Halutie Hor and Nackera Allen competed in the 100m and 200m dash, respectively, at the First Round of the NCAA Track & Field East Preliminaries on Thursday afternoon, held at the University of Kentucky Track Complex.
 
A senior from Ghana, Hor narrowly missed out on qualifying for the National Quarterfinals by .02, clocking a wind-legal personal record of 11.46 to finish 27th overall. Hor took fifth in her heat and battled a slight headwind.
 
In the 200m dash, Allen, a native of Manchester, Jamaica, finished in 24.26.
