4x400 Relay

Women's Track and Field took Gold in the 4x400 at Towson Invitational

Towson, MD – Coppin State Women's Track and Field took gold in the 4x400 relay this Saturday at Towson invitational.  The team of Kimani Alphonse, Latifa Ali, Shenelle Tomlinson, Kaelyn Woodrum holds fifth all time in CSU history, clocking 3:44.20.

The 4x400 B team of Kamillah Monroque, Destinee Mcloud, Angel Davis, and Claudina Constantine placed fourth in a time of 3:57.86

Halutie Hor placed third on the 400m run with a time of 57.67.  Right behind her was Monroque who placed fourth in 58.82.  Davis finished in 1:01.70.  

Destinee Mcloud and Erin Palmer placed top 20 in the women's 200m dash. Mcloud finished with 25.51 while Palmer crossed the line in 25.89.  

Constantine competed in the 800m run, with a time of 2:21.40 to place 11th.  

In the 1500m run, Monroque placed top 10 with a time of 4:51.03, while Woodrum took fifth in the100m hurdles on a time of 14.92.  

Saidai Stuteley competed on the women's 3000m steeplechase where she clocked a 12:30.36.   

Up Next: The Eagles return to the track on April 8-9 in Greensboro, N.C. for the Aggie Invitational.
