Box Score Coppin Women's Tennis lost to LIU Brooklyn this Sunday 4-0. The Sharks advance to 14-3 for the season while the Eagles are now 0-11.
Kristina Georgieva and Mackenzie Jones won two games in first doubles along with Iva Jankovic and Megan Etienne in third doubles. Christy Turner and Lucia Placidi lost against the Sharks second doubles duo.
At fifth singles, Jankovic crushed the first set 6-1. She won six games in an extended second set but lost7-6. in the tiebreaker Jankovic led 2-1 before the match was interrupted.
Georgieva was back in action in the first singles totaling five wins in a two set loss.
Placidi grabbed a win in the first set at number two singles, while Etienne totaled three win in an interrupted to set match at number six singles.
Up Next: The Eagles well head to Howard University on Friday, April 1st to face the Bison for their fifth conference match of the season.
