Andrea Tsvetanova has been named the MEAC Volleyball Setter of the Week, it was announced by the league office Monday afternoon. This is Tsvetanova's third recognition this season.
Tsvetanova, a junior from Sofia Bulgaria averaged 8.9 assists and 3.2 digs per set for the Eagles, recording double-doubles in both matches. She had 40 assists and 10 digs against Maryland Eastern Shore, while also recording four service aces as they defeated the Hawks 3-1 on Friday. She then turned in a 38-assist, 19-dig performance on Sunday against Delaware State in five sets.
The Eagles are back in action on Friday, November 12 hosting local cross-town rival Morgan State. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
