DANBURY, Conn. – Coppin State's TaKenya Stafford and Coco Figueroa were named to the All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Women's Volleyball Team, it was announced by the organization on Friday morning.  Stafford was a First Team selection while Figueroa received Second Team honors.
 
A redshirt senior from Los Angeles, Calif., Stafford led the Eagles to their second MEAC Tournament Title and NCAA Tournament appearance this season.  Stafford was the MEAC Player of the Year and Tournament's Most Outstanding Performer and went on to receive AVCA All-East Coast Region accolades. In her final collegiate season, Stafford led the MEAC with 22 double-doubles while breaking CSU single-season records in kills (491) and points (550.0). Stafford hit .220 for the season while adding 355 digs (2.63/set), 44 blocks (0.33/set) and 35 aces (0.26/set).
 
Figueroa became just the second Eagles player to record 500 digs in a season and finished with a career-high 599 (4.54/set) to lead the MEAC this year. A junior from Bayamon, Puerto Rico, Figueroa was named the MEAC Defensive Player of the Year and also earned First Team All-Conference honors for the second-straight season.  Figueroa also tallied career highs with 173 assists and 46 aces while recording three double-doubles.
 
The Eagles finished the 2025 season at 23-12 overall while winning the MEAC Regular Season crown with a 13-1 mark in conference play.  Coppin also set single-season records for kills, assists, digs, points, home wins and conference wins while matching the longest winning streak with ten consecutive victories from September 26 to October 26.
