Box Score EASTON, Pa. – The Coppin State women's tennis team lost at Lafayette College, 4-0, on Sunday afternoon at Winning Touch Indoor Facility.
Brittanie Cahua and Ajla Hrnjic managed a pair of games in a 6-2 defeat at No. 1 doubles while the Eagles were blanked in the second and third positions.
Lafayette earned three victories in singles play to clinch the match, winning in the first, third and fourth slots over Shariah Dunwell, Tinashe Gwaze and Hrnjic. Falling in the first set, Cahua was up 2-1 in the second set At No. 2 singles.
The Eagles are on a two-week layoff before their next match, a February 16 showdown at Towson University.
