LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kimani Alphonse ran a season-best in the 400m dash while

Tre'J Johnson and
Jasmine Henery clocked personal records as Coppin State's women's track & field team competed in the final day of the Rod McCravy Invitational held at Kentucky's Nutter Field House on Saturday.
Alphonse clocked a 57.13 in the 400m dash, just ahead of Henery who finished in 57.71.
Ogundeko had the best finish for an Eagles runner over the weekend, finishing the 800m Run in 2:12.45. Her mark is the fifth-fastest in the MEAC this season and is her best time in the event indoors. Just behind her was
Claudina Constantine in 2:15.96, good for tenth overall.
Johnson just missed the 40-foot mark in the triple jump, leaping 12.15m (39' 10.50") to finish in eighth place.
Alanna Newby also tossed the shot put 12.78m (41' 11.25").
The Eagles return to the track on Saturday, February 1 at the Boston University Scarlet & White Invitational.
