BALTIMORE, Md. - The Coppin State women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at home to Lafayette College on Sunday afternoon to fall to 3-6 on the season.
In doubles action,
Brittanie Cahua and
Tinashe Gwaze fell, 6-2, in No. 1 doubles while
Precious Udofe and
Shariah Dunwell fared slightly better in their 6-4 loss.
All five Eagles singles players fell in straight sets with Cahua taking two games in the first set and four in the second in the No. 1 singles slot. Gwaze, Udofe and
Ajla Hrnjic each took a pair of games in each of their sets.
Coppin returns to the courts on Tuesday, April 10 at Loyola University Maryland for a 3:30 pm start.
