BALTIMORE, Md. – The Coppin State women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision at MEAC rival Morgan State on Wednesday afternoon.
Morgan took both doubles matches to earn the point heading into singles play.
Brittanie Cahua and
Tinashe Gwaze were defeated, 6-1 in the first position while
Shariah Dunwell and
Precious Udofe fell, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
Gwaze got the slot at No. 1 singles and was defeated, 6-2, 6-1. Dunwell fell at No. 3 and the sixth slot went to the Bears by default to earn the fourth and final point.
CSU returns to the court on Sunday, April 15 at Hampton at 12 pm.
