BALTIMORE, Md. - The Coppin State women's tennis team was defeated at Loyola University Maryland, 7-0, on Tuesday afternoon.
Coppin dropped both doubles matches to start the day as the Greyhounds took a 1-0 lead into singles play.Â
Brittanie Cahua and
Tinashe Gwaze managed to take one game at No. 1 doubles but Previous Udofe and
Shariah Dunwell were blanked in the second slot.
The Eagles did not far much better in singles competition as only Gwaze, Dunwell and
Ajla Hrnjic managed to win games of a set.
CSU is back in action on Wednesday, April 11 at MEAC rival Morgan State for a 3 pm start.
