Lady Eagles Close Out Fall Season Against St. Francis (NY)

Box Score BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Coppin State's Tinashe Gwaze got a set win in the No. 2 singles, while Precious Udofe picked up a victory at No. 4 singles but the Lady Eagles women's tennis team fell to St. Francis (NY), 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Gwaze defeated the Terriers' Runsi Patro in one of its two meetings but the match was considered incomplete. Udofe was able to take a match from St. Francis' Ana Orozco in the No. 4 slot but was incomplete as well.
 
The doubles teams of Brittanie Cahua/Tinashe Gwaze and Shariah Dunwell/Precious Udofe each managed to take a set from the Terriers top two duos, but the Eagles failed to register a single point.
 
Coppin takes a four-month break before the start of the Spring season when it travels to Lafayette on Sunday, February 24, at 1 p.m.
