BALTIMORE, Md. – Coppin State University softball's mid-week conference series with Norfolk State University scheduled for Tuesday, April 25
th and Wednesday, April 26
th has been chanced due to weather conditions at the CSU Softball Field.
The three game series between the Eagles and Spartans has been rescheduled to Wednesday, April 26
th with a single game slated for 5 p.m. and then a doubleheader on Thursday, April 27
th set to begin at noon and 2 p.m.
Coppin State (6-38) sits in sixth place in the MEAC Northern Division standings with a 3-9 record trailing Norfolk State (11-19) who sits tied for fourth place with a 4-8 conference record. The final six games of the regular season for Coppin State will impact their chances at the upcoming MEAC Softball Tournament.
After their matchup with the Spartans, Coppin State will host Morgan State University in the regular season finale this weekend. The crosstown rivals will play a doubleheader on Saturday, April 29
th at 1pm and 3 pm and then a single game on Sunday, April 30
th at noon at the CSU Softball Field.
