EUGENE, Ore. – Coppin State track and field senior
Shane Green finished 14
th in the men's triple jump on Friday, June 10 at the NCAA Outdoor Championships at the historic Hayward Field.
The Kingston, Jamaica native, seeded 22
nd, placed 14
th in the triple jump with a measure of 15.69 meters (51-5.75). On his first attempt at the pit Green leaped 15.26 meters. On his second and best attempt he reached 15.69 meters (51-5.75). That was his third highest mark of the season after recording a personal-best at the NCAA East Regionals at 15.82 meters.
Green concludes his career as an Eagle notching second team All-American honors.
