BALTIMORE- Playing in its final home game of the 2015 calendar year, the Coppin State men's basketball team will faceoff against the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Monday December 21 at 7:00 p.m. in PEC Arena. It will be Community Night in the Physical Education Complex.

As part of Community Night, admission is $5 for the Eagles final home contest before the New Year.

Coppin State (2-10) is coming of back-to-back road games against the University of San Francisco and the University of California.

Eastern Michigan leads the all-time series against Coppin State 1-0, with the lone win coming in last year's meeting 87-64 in Ypsilanti, Mich.

Terry Harris Jr., leads the Eagles in scoring and rebounding. He is averaging 12.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. His five double-doubles is tied for 20th nationally. He scored a career high 27 points against USF this past Friday evening.

Harris Jr., is second on the team in blocks and leads CSU with seven double-digit scoring games.

Christian Kessee is chipping in 11.2 points and 2.3 rebounds. He is playing a team high 28.8 minutes per game. Kessee leads the Eagles with 21 made 3-point field goals this season. He has made two or more 3-pointers in eight games this season.

Kessee has played in and started in all 12 games for Coppin State this season.

Junior guard
Trevon Seymore leads CSU with 38 (3.5apg) assists and 16 steals (1.4 spg) through 11 games. Seymore is adding 8.5 points and 4.3 rebounds per contest on 83.3% shooting from the free throw line.

Over the last two contests, Seymore is averaging 13 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 38.0 minutes per game on a perfect 10-of-10 accuracy from the charity stripe.

James Sylvester and
Joshua Treadwell have continued to stables on consistency of the Eagles bench.

Sylvester is pouring in 10.6 points and 4.3 rebounds on 48.3% shooting from 3-point range. He is second on the team 14 made 3-pointers. Sylvester leads Coppin State with 29 offensive rebounds.

He tied a career high 18 points, sinking 3-of-4 3-point field goals in a setback to USF. Sylvester has six double figure scoring games this year.

Treadwell is scoring on a 9.9 per game clip, while adding 3.4 rebounds. He leads the team shooting 83.7% from the free throw line.

Treadwell averaged 13 points and five rebounds on 11-of-12 from the foul line over the Eagles west coast road trip. He has seven double-digit scoring games this season.

Eastern Michigan (6-4) has won four of its last six games.

James Thompson IV leads the Eagles with 14.7 points and 11.8 rebounds. Ty Toney is adding 9.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists.
