NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's
Cole Schlotterbeck has been named the MEAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon. This is the first time that Schlotterbeck has received a weekly award from the MEAC.
A senior from Hagerstown, Md., Schlotterbeck won the 200m dash at the VCU Rams Indoor Invitational this past weekend in a MEAC-leading time 21.08. Schlotterbeck's time ranks ninth in the Nation and he also recorded a PR of 6.81 in the 60m dash to place fifth overall.
Schlotterbeck and the Eagles return to the track on Saturday, January 17 for the HBCU Showcase Presented by Nike Running in New York City.
