EUGENE, Oregon - Coppin State's
Jarrett Gentles finished ninth at the NCAA Track & Field Championships in the 400m hurdles with a time of 51.50 on Friday night at Hayward Field.Â
A senior from Newark, N.J., Gentles will receive Second Team All-America honors, becoming Coppin's third All-American in the event, joining Jibri Victorian and Steve Delice.
Gentles owns the school record in the 400m hurdles with a time of 49.78, which he set at the NCAA Quarterfinals just weeks ago in Jacksonville.
