Shenae Harrison (Chesterfield, Va. / Matoaca HS) has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete for the Eagles during the 2024-25 season. Harrison joins Cassandra Westphal and Abigail Brockington as the newest Eagles for next season's squad.
A 2023 Junior Gold Qualifier, Harrison made the All-Star Team for the Virginia State High School Bowling Championships while helping her team to the State Title. Harrison averaged 190 during her senior season to lead the team and her youth league also finished in first place during the 2023-24 season. Harrison owns a high game of 269 and a high set of 720.
Coach Middleton on Harrison: "My coaching staff and I are excited to welcome Shenae to the Coppin family. Her length and style of play in being able to get the ball through the fronts and down the lane only continues to increase our range of play as a team. Her eagerness to continue to grow her game and win at the next level has only highlighted her attributes of hard work and dedication she's already bringing to the table."
Harrison on Why Coppin State: "I chose to further my education and bowling career at Coppin because I was shown something at Coppin that you can't find at a lot of other universities. They care, not just the coaches in athletics but also the professors and everyone else in the whole Coppin community. After visiting I knew this was the school for me, it was a feeling I got with no other school, and I'm 100% positive that I made the right choice for my future by choosing Coppin State University."
