Victoria Davis has been named the MEAC Bowling Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon. This is the third time this season that Davis was named the conference's Rookie of the Week.
A freshman from New Milford, Conn., Davis collected a weekend pinfall of 910 pins and an average of 182 per game. Davis averaged 17.10 pins/frame overall, 18.20 pins in traditional matches and 16.36 in baker style play. She produced an overall fill of 73.8% and made 57.9% of her makeable spares.
For the season, Davis led the Eagles in nearly every category, tallying 17.08 pins/frame in traditional play with a 72.3 overall fill percentage while converting 64.4% of her makeable spares. In baker matches, Davis recorded 16.48 pins/frame with a 66.2 overall fill percentage.
