Amadou Ba and volleyball's
Miajavon Coleman received the President's Eagle Awards as Coppin State University Athletic Department held its annual Eagles ESPY Awards on Wednesday night at James Weldon Johnson Auditorium.
Sam Sessoms from men's basketball and volleyball's
Andrea Tsvetanova received CSU's Male and Female Athlete of the Year Awards, respectively.
Men's Tennis'
Luka Markovic and
Shawnee Ronyak of the softball team received the Scholar-Athlete Awards. The Male and Female Newcomers of the Year went to
Angel Colon of the baseball team and softball's
Seryna Esparza.
The Annual Iron Eagle awards were also presented, with those honors going to baseball's
Brian Nicolas and
Miajavon Coleman from the volleyball team.
Additionally, each team announced their sport's Most Valuable Player, Unsung Hero and Most Improved Player awards.
