TEAM GOLD TAKES FALL WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP WITH 6-3 WIN OVER TEAM NAVY

TEAM GOLD OFEENSIVE STARS:

Senior Anthony DiVittorio singled and stole two bases while scoring the first run for Gold.
Senior Brody Black walked twice and stole two bases while scoring the second run for Gold.
Freshman Chris Marte walked twice and drove in a run with a sacrifice fly to centerfield.

TEAM GOLD PITCHING STARS:

Senior John Neeld threw two dominant middle innings, retiring all six batters in order with three strikeouts.
Junior Reagan Rivera recorded the save in the final inning, striking out a pair.

TEAM NAVY OFFENSIVE STARS:

Freshman Braylon Watson tripled to deep right center and scored Navy's second run of the game.
Junior Damon Gaither doubled down the left field line, scoring freshman Ethan Acevedo for Navy's first run of the game.
Sophomore Brett Griggs walked twice and singled in the second inning.

TEAM NAVY PITCHING STARS:

Freshman Brandon Stephens had the most dominant pitching performance of the Fall. The fireballer threw 2.1 innings, striking out all seven batters he faced.
