TOWSON, Md. – Coppin State's men's and women's cross country teams took second and third place, respectively, in their races at the Coach Caslin Classic, hosted by Goucher College on Friday afternoon.
Asa Francis led the men's squad with a time of 30:23.7 on the 8-kilometer (5-mile) course to finish ninth overall. Finishing just over a minute after was freshman
Humed Nura in 15th place, clocking in at 31:24.6. He was followed by freshman
Stephen Spencer (32:45.7),
Jayeed Norbal (36:01.2) and
Amiri Goode (40:13.7).
CSU heads to the Delaware Invitational on Friday, October 13 at 9:30 am.
