EUGENE, Ore. – Coppin State's
Joseph Manu received Honorable Mention All-America accolades in both the 100m and 200m dash after his performances in the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Wednesday night at historic Hayward Field on the campus of University of Oregon. Manu was unable to advance to the final round in either event.
A senior from Accra, Ghana, Manu clocked a 10.30 in the 100m dash, followed by a 20.75 in the 200m later in the night. Manu took 21
st overall in the 100m dash and 20
th in the 200m dash, earning Honorable Mention status by placing in the top 24.
Manu is now a five-time All-America selection after capturing the honor three times on Coppin State relay squads.
