GREENSBORO, N.C. – Joseph Manu, Amadou Ba and Mauriel Carty all medaled for the Coppin State men's track & field team at the Aggie Invitational on Saturday.
Manu took third in the 100m dash in a time of 10.40 while Ba was edged out in the 800m Run, taking second in 1:52.63. Carty won the 200m dash with a time of 21.68.
Bryce Pepukayi (11.07/22.68) and Jervonne Agard (11.43/22.91) doubled up in the 100m and 200m dash while Ivan Wiggins-Ingram (57.36) and Amiri Goode (57.94) finished just behind each other in the 400m hurdles.
Abayie Opuni opened his outdoor season by clocking a 2:08.84 in the 800m Run.
The Eagles return to the track on April 15-16 for the Norfolk State Invitational.
