BALTIMORE, MD– Coppin State's men's basketball team will hit the road to face University of Maryland Eastern Shore on Saturday, February 26 at 4pm at the Hytche Center for their last away game of the season. Fan=s can stream the game live on Flosports. Two days later the Eagles will host the Delaware State Hornets at home on Monday, February 28, for a 7:30pm tip-off. Coppin is now ranked fifth in the MEAC at 5-6 (6-20 overall).

Tyree Corbett is the fifth leading scorer in the conference with 13.6 points per game. Right behind him is Nendah Tarke in sixth averaging 13.3 ppg. Corbett leads the league with 9.2 rebounds and double doubles (11) with Tarke advances to third with 6.7 rebounds per game. Tarke leads the conference and ranked second nationally in steals with 67, with 3 per game. Kyle Cardaci and Mike Hood are also major threats to score the basketball, tallying nearly seven points each per game. Greg Spurlock and Alex Rojas have seen significant increases in playing time as of late with Justin Steers, Daniel Titus, Sita Conteh and Isaiah Gross also contributing.

Scouting Delaware State
The Hornets are at the bottom of the conference and have yet to win a conference game. Myles Carter earned MEAC co-player of the week, cumulating 49 points, 17 rebounds and five assists against NC Central and SC State. He scored a career-high 27 points and hit his 1,000th point in the matchup against the Bulldogs. He is the third leading scorer in thew conference with 16.1 points per game. Dominik Fragala is the Hornets' second leading scorer with 12 points a game, to place him top 10 in the MEAC.
