Last Time Out
Coppin was last in action at the James Brown Invitational on February 11-13 where it finished eighth out of fourteen teams. TaVera Johnson led the way averaging 188.40 followed close behind by Kaylah Castillo who averaged 188.20. The team finished at 5-5 over the first two days with two wins over top 25 ranked teams, #11 Duquesne and #25 Kutztown. In the final match of the day on Saturday, Jalyne Myers recorded her highest game of the season, 196, against Fayetteville State.
Back in November, the Eagles competed in MEAC Meet #1 in Gwynn Oak, Md. They finished in sixth out of nine with wins over Howard, Monmouth, and UAB.

TaVera Johnson leads the Eagles with a 184.95 average for the season, followed by Logan Brown averaging a 182.55. Brown has recorded a team high seven matches above 200, including the Eagles' two highest performances (244 & 239). Johnson has the second most games above 200 with five including a personal high of 226. Temira White and Kaylah Castillo come in averaging just under 180 on the season. The lineup is rounded up with Jalyne Myers and Alexia Alston.
