GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Coppin State men's track & field team finished fourth at the 2019 MEAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships this weekend at the Irwin Belk Track.
In the final day of competition,
Joseph Amoah took second in the 200m dash (20.20) and third in the 100m dash (10.18) while also running a leg of the second-place finishing 4x100m Relay that clocked a school-record 39.41. Joining Amoah on the record-breaking relay was
Keshaun Hodges,
Theodore Westcarr and
Joseph Manu. Manu also scored in the 100m dash, finishing fifth in 10.43.
Also putting together impressive performances were
Aaron Lewis, who took second in the 110m hurdles (13.87),
Anija Addison, who took fourth in the 800m Run (1:53.13) and
Jona Hanson, who placed fifth in the javelin with a personal-record toss of 163-8.
